    Nail Technician

    I was born in Southern California but moved to Boothbay Harbor during high school. During high school, I realized I had a passion for all things nails! As a result, after graduating high school, I attended Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair and Fashion for Cosmetology. After graduation, I worked as a nail technician at Bubba’s Hair Styling in Brunswick, Maine and at Bonnie’s A Cut Above in Boothbay Harbor. I then, with two co-owners, opened my own salon – “A Creative Edge.” I was also a nail technician at Haircut 100 in Hallowell, Maine during this time. In 2003, I transitioned from “A Cutting Edge” into opening another salon of my own entitled, “Oasis Day Spa.” After deciding to scale down the size of my business to nail services only in 2015, I opened “Oasis Nail Salon.” I continue to see guests there and am looking forward to also seeing guests at Giselaine’s Spa!

    Stylist

    I was born and raised on the Midcoast of Maine and have made Boothbay Harbor my home for the last 36 years. I have been blessed with 30 years in the hair industry. I have worked for Bonnie's A Cut Above and currently work at Shear Artistry Hair Salon. Throughout my career, I have kept up with the latest trends and color and cutting techniques by taking one-on-one education classes and attending hair symposiums and shows. I travel all over Maine for on-site wedding services and have built a solid reputation as a wedding stylist. My forte is color - from color correction to specialized highlighting and fashion colors. Last year I entered Lady Gaga and Frederic Aspiras’s Ultimate Stylist international contest. I was a semifinalist. I am excited to bring my passion, knowledge of hair, and my commitment to give you a one-on-one quality experience to all who sit in my chair!

    I have been a practicing licensed massage therapist and esthetician for eight years. Originally from small town Indiana, I live in Naples, Florida and have worked seasonally for Boothbay Harbor Country Club for the last three seasons. I combine the best of Swedish and deep tissue massage to create comforting and therapeutic treatments that are unique and catered for a personalized healing experience! As an esthetician, I have had extensive training and experience in Hydrafacial services. I am very excited about the opportunity to share the benefits of Hydrafacial treatments and also Broadband Light (BBL) treatments with the guests of Giselaine’s Spa!

    Sara Migliozzi

    Massage Therapist / Esthetician

    I am a self-professed “beauty junkie” and my passion has always been searching for the best beauty products and services around the world. My BA in Mandarin Chinese opened opportunities in many markets. While living in Los Angeles, I worked in product development for several private label companies in the footwear industry. In 2018, I decided to follow my passion for skincare and graduated from the Aveda Institute in Augusta, Maine as an esthetician. I am the sole proprietor of a private studio, S-Thetics, located in Boothbay, Maine. My concierge approach to skincare helps clients not only regain self confidence in their skin, but in themselves. I emphasize the importance of at home self-care regimes that yield long lasting results. I am also a licensed esthetician in Florida where I have worked at exclusive luxury med spas from Palm Beach to South Beach. I am excited to join Giselaine’s Spa not only for esthetic services, but for a supportive vision of high-end skincare and realization of mind, body and spirit.
