I was born and raised on the Midcoast of Maine and have made Boothbay Harbor my home for the last 36 years. I have been blessed with 30 years in the hair industry. I have worked for Bonnie's A Cut Above and currently work at Shear Artistry Hair Salon. Throughout my career, I have kept up with the latest trends and color and cutting techniques by taking one-on-one education classes and attending hair symposiums and shows. I travel all over Maine for on-site wedding services and have built a solid reputation as a wedding stylist. My forte is color - from color correction to specialized highlighting and fashion colors. Last year I entered Lady Gaga and Frederic Aspiras’s Ultimate Stylist international contest. I was a semifinalist. I am excited to bring my passion, knowledge of hair, and my commitment to give you a one-on-one quality experience to all who sit in my chair!

A licensed provider in the beauty industry since 2010, I have worked across the country and internationally specializing in bridal, editorial, and commercial fashion. I work with high profile clients, have work published in numerous magazines and books, and have been featured on countless blogs. My work has also been featured on the runways of New York Fashion Week, national television, and can be seen in feature films as well as on Netflix, and Magnolia Network.

Stylist

I am a color specialist with over 20 years of experience in the salon industry. I graduated from Bon Losee Academy of Hair Artistry in Provo, UT in 1992. After graduating, I had a wonderful opportunity to work at the American Embassy Salon in Moscow, Russa. Working there for two years really helped develop and hone my customer relation skills. After returning to Maine, I had an apprenticeship at Akari Salon & Spa in Portland, Maine. There I received invaluable education, including education in the Vidal Sassoon method of hair cutting. After my apprenticeship, I worked in several salons in Maine which resulted in the discovery of my love of hair color design. I continued my education with educational classes and received multiple certificates from academies in New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Orlando, and Rome, Italy. I opened Salon Capella in 2003 in Boothbay Harbor, specializing in hair color design. I retired Salon Capella this year and am very excited to have the opportunity to now see guests at Giselaine’s Spa!

Prior to the start of my career, I was a salon assistant for over three years. Having the opportunity to work under licensed stylists, while also attending cosmetology school, gave me an advanced opportunity with hands-on experience. I graduated from West Georgia Technical College in 2021 and became a licensed provider in the hair industry. I have a passion for hair and enjoy keeping up with the latest trends and techniques that this industry has to offer! I am beyond excited and looking forward to the opportunity to be a part of Giselaine’s Spa!

Massage Therapist / Esthetician

I hold multiple massage licenses and am the owner of a spa suite in Naples, Florida. I have been licensed in massage since 2017 and specialize in lymphatic and medical grade massage. I pride myself on my industry knowledge, the quality services I offer, and my large clientele. I am looking forward to seeing you for a massage!

Massage Therapist / Esthetician

I have been a practicing licensed massage therapist and esthetician for eight years. Originally from small town Indiana, I live in Naples, Florida and have worked seasonally for Boothbay Harbor Country Club for the last three seasons. I combine the best of Swedish and deep tissue massage to create comforting and therapeutic treatments that are unique and catered for a personalized healing experience! As an esthetician, I have had extensive training and experience in Hydrafacial services. I am very excited about the opportunity to share the benefits of Hydrafacial treatments and also Broadband Light (BBL) treatments with the guests of Giselaine’s Spa!

Massage Therapist / Esthetician

I have been an esthetician for three years now and I currently hold licenses in three states. I have worked at two guest ranches in Montana and Colorado. I have recently added massage therapy to my education and am excited to combine massage and esthetics! For esthetics, I enjoy a lovely relaxing facial that also causes results. For massage, I specialize in deep tissue and therapeutic work. In my free time I enjoy hiking, rock wall climbing, paddle boarding, traveling, and anything that gets me active and outside! I am excited about this new adventure Giselaine’s Spa is providing!

Massage Therapist / Esthetician

I am a self-professed “beauty junkie” and my passion has always been searching for the best beauty products and services around the world. My BA in Mandarin Chinese opened opportunities in many markets. While living in Los Angeles, I worked in product development for several private label companies in the footwear industry. In 2018, I decided to follow my passion for skincare and graduated from the Aveda Institute in Augusta, Maine as an esthetician. I am the sole proprietor of a private studio, S-Thetics, located in Boothbay, Maine. My concierge approach to skincare helps clients not only regain self confidence in their skin, but in themselves. I emphasize the importance of at home self-care regimes that yield long lasting results. I am also a licensed esthetician in Florida where I have worked at exclusive luxury med spas from Palm Beach to South Beach. I am excited to join Giselaine’s Spa not only for esthetic services, but for a supportive vision of high-end skincare and realization of mind, body and spirit.

Registered Nurse

I am a Registered Nurse (RN) and Sciton Laser Specialist. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2022 from Endicott College in Beverly Massachusetts and earned my RN license shortly after that. I am providing BroadBand Light (BBL) as well as Moxi treatments at Giselaine’s Spa. I have had many clinical experiences in women’s health, pediatrics, as well as intensive care units. I am excited to start this season and help my clients achieve their transformation goals!
